For keen walkers, there are hikes available at the North Harris Hills, where you can immerse yourself in the rugged landscape, or you can have a more relaxed day exploring the local shops, cafes and produce available, for example the area around the property offers Harris Tweed and Knitwear, Clo Mor Harris Tweed Exhibition and Ardbuidhe Cottage Gallery. Further afield you will find the town of Tarbert, where there are several pubs to choose from, for example the Harris Hotel, as well as restaurant to try out local cuisine, one being Flavour. There is also a local convenience store where you can stock up on essentials before you head out for a day of exploring.
