Self-contained space in colourful artist’s house, Langland

Our Airbnb is a colourful and creative private space attached to our mid century bungalow. It has its own entrance, kitchenette, double bedroom and en-suite shower room.
We are in a quiet yet convenient location for the beaches, coastal path and the shops, restaurants & bars in Mumbles village.
There is private parking directly outside the house and a little patio with table and chairs for use in the summer.
The space you’ll be staying in a spotlessly clean and colourful self contained annex with a bedroom, kitchenette & table and chairs, ensuite shower room and a tiny outdoor seating area.
We are continually improving the space in a sustainable and creative way and have recently installed a separate kitchenette using reclaimed materials. It has a sink, mini fridge, kettle, microwave, toaster, crockery and cutlery. (No hob or oven) Everything you need for making simple meals, hot drinks, breakfast, picnics and warming food from our local M&S. There’s a dining table and chairs for 2 in the hallway.
The chairs and headboard in the bedroom are upholstered in Caroline’s textile designs and one wall of the room is taken up by fitted wardrobes which you can use to store your luggage and clothes in during your stay.
The en-suite has a shower, toilet and sink with plenty of toiletries.
Your suite is at the front of the house next to the front door. You have sole access to the front door and to give you privacy we keep the inner door to the main house locked.
If you wish to have a break from your car you can leave it outside the house for the duration of your stay and explore the beaches, coast and village on foot from our convenient location.
Other things to note
You have the facilities to prepare your own breakfast and heat up ready meals in the kitchenette but It doesn’t have the appliances to cook a gourmet meal! There’s a dining table and chairs in your hallway. There are plenty of great cafes in walking distance. recommend breakfast on the beach at The Surfside which is in a fantastic location at Langland or there are plenty of excellent cafes in Mumbles. (Boos kitchen is our favourite)
We are at the top of a hill (wales is quite hilly!) and there are 5 steps up to the front door which may be a problem if you have mobility issues, however once inside the house is on one level.
You can park your car on the road directly outside the house.
Even though the check in is listed as 4pm - 2am we can often be flexible - just ask!
Our price is for 1 or 2 adults and we don’t charge a deposit or extra for cleaning. The space isn’t suitable for children.
