Lyme Regis and Charmouth are also nearby, along with many other places to visit including Forde Abbey and Gardens and the Cider Mills at Dowlish Wake. Shop 1½ miles, pub 2¼ miles.

This cottage is located in Chard. Chard Museum and Broadwindsor Craft and Design Centre are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Castlewood Vineyard and Lyme Bay Winery. Field of Dreams and East Lambrook Manor Gardens are also worth visiting.
