Central Cowes Victorian Cottage. Sunny Garden, 2 baths, Ferry Discount STA., Cowes

Isle of Wight. Sleeps up to 7

Isle of Wight UK ; West Cowes.
A very successful holiday let cottage for over 7 years, I have not used VRBO until quite recently, as I am very booked up via a different site. I don't have many reviews yet on here! But I am a very experienced host with this lovely, homely cottage. Hope you give it a try! I also know the island very well, so do ask me anything about things to do etc that may not be in the House Guide here.

Please note that the cost is for the use of 2 of the 3 bedrooms. If you desire the 3rd bedroom is available for your whole stay for a small charge depending on the popularity of dates..
and also can usually provide a 20 or 25% discount for Red Funnel Ferries between Southampton and East Cowes for Cars etc. Do ask if I have a valid code for your dates as it is subject to availability, and I only get them a few months before travel.

Newly renovated, self-Catering Cowes Cottage with 2 modern bathrooms, a BBQ sunny patio with small garden and an area to store bikes.

Accepts one small pet ie small, well behaved dog for additional £40 per stay. Please inform me of breed and size when booking and you can walk the dog in the nearby park as well as the beaches. Please do not leave any dog mess in my garden. :)

Near the Isle of Wight Coast and Cowes Beach if walking and accessible to everywhere with a car or bikes.
Ideal shore base, cycling base with secured cycling storage area and easy 4 minute walk to Cowes High Street - No major Hills!

This wonderful end-terrace Victorian Isle of Wight coastal cottage, built by one of Queen Victoria and Albert’s Osbourne House builders to commemorate Victoria’s Jubilee, is a 4/5 minute easy walk from the bustling sailing and seaport high street of Cowes on the Isle of Wight and is situated next to the National Cycle Route 23.

Perfect for friends and family looking to explore the island or as a shore base for sailors, whilst being close to one of the islands most popular shopping and dining destinations. 117 Jubilee Cottages has been thoughtfully upgraded to a high standard for your comfort and enjoyment.

The front door opens into the cosy sitting room with comfortable seating and a Smart TV, which leads through into a dining room with doors opening out into the patio garden. The galley kitchen is well-equipped - plus TV - with everything you should need for your self-catering holiday, but with so many amenities right on your doorstep you may decide to leave your culinary skills at home!

Please note that the stairs in this property to the first floor are quite steep.

On the first floor there are two bedrooms sharing a family shower room, with a second flight of stairs leading to a further loft bedroom (this room is available on request for £50 per stay.. if over a week a weekly rate of £50 will apply) which includes a double bed and a single day bed.

The garden provides ample seating and a barbecue area, ready to enjoy the Isle of Wight’s famous microclimate and with a gate onto the side path it is an ideal area for cycle storage.

Cowes is famous for professional sailing, especially the Cowes Week Regatta and the Round the Island Race, not forgetting its stunning Victorian architecture, boutique shops, specialist nautical shops, vibrant pubs, cafés and restaurants. Enjoy a walk from your cottage along Cowes seafront, passing the Royal Yacht Squadron along Egypt Esplanade via the pebble beach with its fabulous sea view and all the way to Gurnard. There is always some form of spectator yachting activity to be enjoyed which can be extremely exciting during one of the many yachting regattas that Cowes hosts.

If you’re experienced and the Solent calls, there are many rib and yacht hire charter companies, or if you’re a beginner then the UKSA is a perfect place to start your yachting career. This superb Victorian coastal cottage is perfectly located for year round enjoyment.
