As well as exploring the town itself, there’s lots to explore in the surrounding areas. The Cotswolds AONB starts just 20 minutes away, with some of the UK’s most beautiful villages. A car is useful for exploring the surrounding areas, although if you are visiting by public transport, Stroud train station is a short walk away. There are regular, direct trains to London Paddington as well as Cheltenham, Swindon and Gloucestershire.
