You’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to food, with no end of funky cafes and artisan restaurants - there's something for everyone.

Guest Access:
You have exclusive use of the whole property. We are fortunate enough to have a lovely relationship with our neighbours, please preserve this by adhering to the rules about no parties or loud music after 10pm.

The Neighborhood:
Our home is located in Glasgow City, Finnieston, United Kingdom. Our home is right in the heart of the bustling, fashionable West End. With more of an eclectic multi-cultural vibe than some of the other areas. The West End is home to Glasgow University and is popular with students and academics.
But you'll also find plenty of artists, writers, musicians and other generally creative types here too. The local shops around the corner on Great Western Road reflect this.

Artisan Roast serves up its own award-winning coffee with local, organic, vegan and gluten free delights. As achingly cool as it's warm and welcoming. We have Roots and Fruits, a wholefood deli, florist and greengrocers. Purveyors of such delicacies as dirty carrots, alfalfa sprouts and heritage root beer. Pop into Cottonrake Bakery for a warm sourdough loaf or pick up a box of delicate Raspberry Frangipanes for afternoon tea. All baked in-store. The Glasgow Vintage Company is a 2 storey dressing-up box of bargains for anyone - men and women - looking for something quirky and unique. Round the corner in Otago Street more vintage clothing from Retro and browsable mid-century furnishings from Authentics. Cook has delicious chef-made meals to take home and enjoy. The staff are great. As are their Lamb Tagines and Sticky Toffee Puddings.
If you're looking for a big fat juicy burger head over to the American styled BRGR restaurant - the "Hot Coo" is my favourite! Family run Eusebi Deli is a relatively new addition to the area. But they have been welcomed with open arms ... and mouths. For general supplies there's the Co-Op Supermarket. Small but perfectly stocked. And open from early till late.

Before heading north along the river to The Botanic Gardens stop off under the bridge for a pint of cask ale and a stone-baked pizza at Inn Deep. Check out their Stag in a Kilt mural or just hang out on their terrace and watch the world and his dog go by. If you're a music lover you'll love CC Music Shop. If you want to stretch out drop in to Otago Street Pilates for a class with Rhona and her team. Tchai-Ovna serves up to 100 different types of tea, exhibitions and live music from an old stables in Otago Lane. For a bit of culture head to the Hunterian Art Gallery and Museum and visit the home of Charles Rennie Mackintosh.

All this ... and more ... is within just 10 MINUTES of your front door!

A short walk over the hill takes you to Byres Rd and the lanes: Cresswell, Ashton and Ruthven, for more shopping and nightlife. There's even a wee cinema with couches for two! If you're looking for a buzzing atmosphere and vibe with exceptional fresh food, head over to Ubiquitous Chip in Ashton Lane...they also have a vegan menu. Take a wander along the Kelvin Walkway into Kelvingrove Park towards the world-renowned Kelvingrove Museum. Famous for its magnificent organ...

Or head towards Finnieston for an eclectic selection of shops, bars and restaurants. Favourites include The Gannett for fine Scottish dining and The Steamie with its oversized tea cups which take two hands to lift. Its old-school workbench counter is laden with thick doorstop slices of home-made cakes. I can vouch for the Lemon and Poppy seed and the delicious Iced Gingerbread.
That's probably enough information to help win you in wanting to stay in my pure dead brilliant amazing neighbourhood!
