Come and uncover the delights of The Cabin nestled in a quiet, green corner of Penlan Holiday Village, a lush, wooded holiday park near Cenarth. Here you will find this charming Scandinavian style log cabin, surrounded by towering trees and the sound of birdsong. As you approach The Cabin, you are greeted by a quaint wooden exterior, featuring a sloping roof and large windows that allow plenty of natural light to flood in. The French doors to the cabin open up to a cosy but spacious living and dining area, decorated in vintage Scandi-style,where a comfortable sofa and dining table are arranged with views out onto the large decked terrace with garden furniture and pots filled with seasonal flowers.
On-site there is an outdoor heated swimming pool with sunloungers - opening times at the site owners’ discretion - and a children’s playground, with plenty of common green space for them to run around. The cabin has a small but well-equipped kitchen, that also opens onto the deck, two bedrooms, one with a comfortable double bed and the other with comfortable three-foot bunk beds, ensuring a restful night’s sleep for everyone. The cabin also has a bathroom, equipped with a shower, toilet, sink and heated towel rail.
Outside, the cabin features that large wooden deck surrounded by trees, grassy areas and lots of wildlife, ideal for soaking up the fresh forest air and enjoying the beautiful surroundings. The deck is furnished with comfortable lounge chairs and a stylish dining table with four chairs. It’s the perfect place to enjoy a morning cup of coffee, evening drink or an al fresco meal with loved ones.
The meandering River Teifi runs through the picturesque village of Cenarth, which is a 5-minute drive away and well situated to enjoy this lovely part of West Wales, right on the border of Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire. Renowned for its great salmon fishing, spectacular waterfalls, and the traditional, Welsh circular coracle fishing boats, Cenarth is a must to visit. Even if you don’t catch a glimpse of the salmon leaping upstream, you can enjoy the village’s two pubs, ice cream parlour, cafés and lovely craft shops. The famous, sandybeaches of Poppit Sands, Mwnt, Aperporth and New Quay are all within an easy 30-minute drive and make a perfect beach day for sun-worshippers, water activities, swimmers, sandcastle building, kayaking or just relaxing. The small and friendly market towns of Cardigan and Newcastle Emlyn, with their antique shops, traditional butchers and plenty of quirky shopping opportunities, are also close by.
