The Rockville Apartment Margate is perfectly located and is only a short 5 minutes walk to the Old Town and main sands. The stylishly furnished apartment will suit families, friends and couples looking for a seaside getaway. The apartment comes fully equipped with everything you will need for a self catering stay, as well as stunning sea views and unforgettable sunsets.
If possible we politely ask that guests leave shoes in the utility room, as this keeps sand outside the flat. Please also note that although the apartment is refurbished, it is an old place with relatively thin walls and ceilings, so we ask guests to please be respectful of the downstairs neighbours by avoiding running or dancing in the flat. Please also respect our very nice neighbours by avoiding the front door of the apartment from banging when you close it - Thank you in advance!
The Rockville Apartment is just a stone’s throw away from everything you will need during your stay in Margate. Just on your doorstep, the beach is waiting for you! Within a short 5-15 minute walk you will find the Turner Contemporary Gallery, Dreamland Heritage Theme Park and Margate Caves.

If you're looking for traditional seaside fun; visit Margate Main Sands with it's 200 meters of sandy beach, tidal pool, children's rides and amusement arcades. Margate's hip Old Town is definitely worth a visit, with its speciality shops and contemporary art galleries. The Harbour Arm also has a great selection of bars and eateries.

The family friendly apartment is located just minutes away from the famous bays/beaches of Thanet, as well as the many great activities, restaurants and bars that Margate has to offer. Despite being so close to the heart of Margate, the property is located in a quiet block of apartments with an unobstructed view of the sea.

The bright and spacious living/dining room is elegantly furnished with a mid-century modern style. In here you can enjoy a breath-taking view of the sea, from the comfortable sofa and armchairs. There is also a dining table with enough seating for 4 guests. The living room also has a great selection of games, books, and DVDs. There is a TV with an Amazon Firestick and access to streaming channels (Netflix, Amazon Prime etc), perfect for those relaxing evenings in.

When you are not out enjoying the variety of great restaurants in Margate, the kitchen is fully equipped with all the essentials that you could possibly need to cook up a storm! There is an integrated fridge/freezer, oven, gas hob and dishwasher.

The main bedroom has a comfortable double bed and another beautiful view of the sea. This bedroom also has sufficient storage space, a mirror and hairdryer. The second bedroom has two single beds, hanging/storage space and children games. Both bedrooms have large, shuttered sash windows that give the rooms a bright and airy feel. Quality linen and towels are provided.

The fully tiled bathroom has a walk-in shower, separate bath, hand basin and toilet. Hand wash, body soap/shampoo and conditioner provided.

This apartment also benefits from a utility room in a separate room downstairs. This has a washing machine, air, iron, ironing board, travel cot and highchair. The utility also has beach toys - please feel free to use and replace any breakages. There are also two old bodyboards which can be borrowed (at own risk) - please try to wash off sand before bringing back into the utility room.

Margate train station is a 20 minute walk away or a 5 minute drive. If you are planning on travelling by train, the High Speed Train (HS1) stops at Margate Station. London to Margate journey time is approx 1hr 20mins.

The local bus service is the Thanet Loop.
