The space:
Bellbrook Meadow is a quiet, rural site and enables guests to spend more outside, indulging in the restorative power of Green Time! There are beautiful views, the most amazing sky and an abundance of wildlife.

Our boutique Glamping experience combines nature and comfort. The tent is pitched on a wooden base and has full coir matting as well as rugs. Each tent has the luxury of a private bathroom and kitchen pod, which is just a few metres away. The bathroom has full a sized shower with hot water, a sink and flushing toilet.

The bijou kitchen area is well equipped and has a phone charging point, a full sized fridge, a 2 ring gas hob, and hot and running cold water (from our own spring so perfect for drinking). It is enclosed on two sides and has a roof so cooking in the great British weather won't be a chore!

Each tent has it's own character and layout. Meadowsweet is inspired by the colour of meadow and has a king size bed and two single futons which offer great flexibility. We can also put a single mattress in there if an extra bed is required. For storage there's two bedside cabinets and an vintage ottoman. Each tent also has a small table and two chairs.

All the tents also have a wood burner, fire pit, BBQ and reclaimed outdoor furniture. We provide a complimentary basket of local wood. Additional wood is £10 a bag.

Whilst there's a great deal of nature & space around we don't have any cafés or shops in the area, the nearest are in Bampton (5 miles). We love it but it's not everyone's cup of tea. However it's perfect for those who truly want to get away from it all and enjoy the great outdoors. We have provided guests with activites and ideas of things to do in the meadow which includes a communal mud kitchen for the kids and sports equipment.

We also have a new carp lake which is stocked with beautiful specimen Emperor Carp and is just £25 for quarter of a lake - more details can be found on the Bellbrook Carp Lake website.

There's lots of quaint Devon attractions to explore within 30 minutes drive from museums to canal barge trips and pony treks across Exmoor and as we are only 2 miles from the North Devon Link Road beautiful beaches are easy to reach as a day trip. For our foodie guests there are also several very good gastropubs within 15 minutes drive and some great farmers markets locally. Please check out the Guidebook for more info.

Bellbrook Meadow is a wild flower meadow and as such we don't mow the grass, apart from the pathways and areas in front of the tents. It is kept long all year round to help protect and encourage wildlife and give guests a sense of privacy.

This is part of what makes us a sustainable and ethical holiday destination. As well as this the hand built pods are made from local larch, the furnishings are sustainably sourced and the power comes from 100% renewable sources and there are recycling facilities on site. All our cleaning products and toiletries are environmentally friendly and refilled so there's no single use plastic.

As a sustainable site we also strongly discourage the use of disposable bbqs and bottled water (our water is delicious and rigorously tested). We also ask that you use our biodegradable toiletries if at all possible.

This small site is home to just a handful of campers at a time and to keep that sense of space and privacy we have set each 6m tent approximately 25m apart. To ensure the peace and quiet 'pup' tents and extra visitors are not allowed and quiet hours are 23.00 to 07.00.

There is NO vehicular access to the tent. Parking for ONE car per tent is in the car park. Meadowsweet the second tent in the row and is approximately 50m from the parking area. We provide wheel barrows for transporting luggage.

Guest access is restricted solely to the Glamping Meadow, which is several acres. The adjoining fields and farm are private and this is clearly marked by green signs. We provide an OS map so you can enjoy the local walks.

We provide towels, bedding, tea towels, cloths, washing up liquid, fair trade tea, coffer, hot chocolate & sugar as well as Faith In Nature toiletries. We suggest you bring wellies and torches. As there is no electricity in the tent it is lit by a rechargeable lantern which can be charged in your kitchen.

For your safety and peace of mind we have public liability insurance and the tents are fireproof.

We hope to see you soon and if you have any questions please ask.

This campground is located in Tiverton. Tiverton Golf Club and Wimbleball Lake Activities Centre are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those looking for area attractions can visit Monsters Mansion and Devon Railway Centre. Traveling with kids? Consider North Devon Hawk Walks, or check out an event or a game at Ian Moorcroft Stadium. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.
