Redwood Flat

London. Sleeps up to 3

Just two minutes from the Thames and its towpath, Redwood Flat, is on the ground floor of a beautiful Victorian terraced house in Chelsea. As soon as you enter, you are greeted by a light, airy space that is comfortable, and stylish space.

Designed in a Scandinavian style, the furnishings in the flat are minimalistic yet functional, focusing on natural materials such as wood and linen. Open plan, this bright and airy room wraps around a beautiful courtyard with a fully equipped kitchen, social dining area and living space. The large L-shaped sofa is sleek, has grey linen, and a wooden coffee table is in the centre of the room. The flat-screen TV is mounted on the wall above a charming fireplace, making the space feel cosy even on winter days.

The large glass doors opening to the courtyard allow natural light to flood the room, making it feel even more spacious. When open, the connection between interior and exterior is seamless, so you can meander in and out of this sunny oasis, enjoying every moment in your London hideaway. With potted plants, a bistro table and chairs, it's the perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning or relax after a long day.

The bedroom is equally impressive, with a comfortable double bed, crisp white linens, and a grey wool throw. There is a large wardrobe for storage and a spacious window seat where you can curl up and read your book. The bathroom is modern and clean, with a shower enclosed by a frameless glass door and a large mirror above the sink. The towels are fluffy and white, and plenty of toiletries are provided.

Redwood flat offers a beautiful example of Scandinavian design with a charming courtyard. It's the perfect space for a peaceful retreat in the city's heart.

Redwood Flat is on a quiet street just meters from Chelsea Creek, the Thames and its towpath. The creek winds its way inland from the Thames past a modern development of luxury apartments, shops and restaurants, through an area of light industry and a mix of businesses including design studios, breweries and art galleries. Located so close to the water, this is a brilliant for exploring some of London’s top attractions, immersing yourselves in this vibrant capital city.

The upmarket neighbourhood of Chelsea can be depicted by the grand Georgian and Victorian townhouses that line the streets. Many of these have been converted into apartments, and the area has a distinctly cosmopolitan feel, with international residents and an abundance of high-end boutiques and restaurants.

One of the area's main draws is the world-famous King's Road, which is just a short walk away. This bustling street is lined with designer boutiques, trendy cafes, and upscale restaurants, making it the perfect place to spend an afternoon shopping or enjoying a leisurely meal.

For those who love art, the Saatchi Gallery is just a few blocks away from the apartment. This contemporary art museum is home to some of the world's most cutting-edge artwork and hosts various temporary exhibitions annually. Another popular attraction within walking distance is the Royal Hospital Chelsea. This historic building is home to the famous Chelsea Pensioners, retired soldiers who live on the premises and have become a beloved part of the community.

Regarding transportation, Redwood Flat is well-connected to the rest of the city. Imperial Wharf station is just a few minutes away, with trains running around the city. Fulham Broadway tube station is also nearby, offering access to the District Line. Plenty of bus routes run through the area, making it easy to get around without a car.

Within a short walk, you can also reach the open space of Battersea Park, and the renowned Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens are also nearby. These stunning parks provide a peaceful retreat from the busy streets of London and offer a range of activities, including jogging, cycling, and picnicking.

Overall, the area around the flat is a vibrant and diverse part of London, with a rich history and a mix of residential, commercial and industrial properties. Whether you're interested in architecture, art, history or just enjoying the great outdoors, there's something for everyone here.
