Won by the owners in the Omaze competition, the Lodge has been beautifully designed, boasting state-of-the-art, modern interiors and luxurious furnishings.  On the ground floor, the open plan entertaining space offers panoramic views of Lake Windermere boasting wall to wall glass bi-folding doors where you can enjoy your evening meal at the twelve-seater dining table whilst watching the sunset.  A modern fitted kitchen leads through into a cosy open plan lounge area with wood burning fire, whilst a comfortable cinema room with Sonos sound system and NOW TV subscription offers the perfect place to cosy up with a film. Also on this level is a double bedroom with Super King size bed and en-suite with walk-in shower and WC.

Upstairs across two floors are four further double bedrooms (two with en-suite) a family bathroom and a Master Suite complete with walk-in wardrobe dressing area and Juliet balcony offering more opportunity to enjoy the stunning scenery.  

Charter a private yacht on Windermere or take a hot air balloon across the lakes then after the day’s excitement unwind in the Lodge’s sauna and steam room, accessed via the garden, or enjoy a workout in the gym on your very own Peloton bike.

An easy walk from Bowness-on-Windermere the Lodge is perfectly situated.  There are a number of local craft stores and shops selling local produce and gift options.   Then after a day enjoying the unbeatable beauty of the Lake District, head down to the Fizzy Tarte for a glass of champagne, or delight in the fine dining options at one of seven of Cumbria’s Michelin-starred restaurants, such as L’Enclume in the nearby village of Cartmel.

Known as the adventure capital of the UK, the Lake District has activities to keep everyone busy, including sailing, horse-riding, kayaking and hill walking.  No trip would be complete without taking in the stunning Lake Windermere, with endless options by air or water from a breath-taking experience in a Gyroplane to a relaxing ride on one of the many steamers available at the pier at Bowness-on-Windermere.
Why not combine fine dining with boating by going aboard a Sail’n’Dine experience where you can drop anchor in a secluded bay and enjoy a beautifully prepared meal with a glass of wine.

Hire a local bike and enjoy some of the western shore cycling routes of Windermere and Grizedale Forest which are particularly good for family-friendly routes.  Not to be missed is a visit to the famous adventure playground of Brockhole on Windermere set within stunning historic gardens offering woodland aerial obstacle courses and watersports.

For those looking for a little culture, why not take a visit to the Bronte Parsonage Museum, or take a tailor-made tour that will drive you through the significant Cumbrian sights of Britain’s famous authors.

The scenery itself is enough to keep anyone entertained.  Set off from Windermere to the top of Orrest Head, a local beauty spot that offers the breath-taking panoramic views of the surrounding countryside, a rewarding treat for a family friendly twenty-minute climb.
