This splendid 18th cent. country house near Compton Dundon has extensive grounds, a games room and can sleep 16 people in eight bedrooms.

Wootton House is a superb country house on a 1,000 acre estate on the edge of the unspoiled hamlet of Butleigh Wootton, on the Somerset levels. This striking house can sleep sixteen people in eight bedrooms, sharing six bath/shower rooms, four doubles; two with four poster beds and four twins. Comfortable, elegant and well loved, there are two reception rooms; a sitting room with a marble fireplace and a lovely drawing room with an open fire and French windows to the front garden. Overlooking the rear garden is a large formal dining room and there's a huge and well equipped kitchen. The AbbotÂ’s Room, has table tennis, a children's snooker table, darts, TV and a PlayStation 2 ensuring that there's always plenty to do. Outside is a large mature garden with a croquet lawn, hard tennis court and climbing frames, slides and swings for the children. With so much to see and do, Wootton House is sure to be a real hit with all the family.

Amenities: Central heating with open fire. Microwave, fridge, fridge-freezer, tumble dryer, washing machine, dishwasher, TV with DVD, WiFi, Phone, Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot and highchair available on request, Off road parking for eight cars. Enclosed garden with tennis court, children's play area.
