Situated in the harbour town of Burry Port in Carmarthenshire, The Lookout is a top floor apartment offering spacious and flexible living accommodation with spectacular views across to Gower Peninsular, with sand dunes and beach directly to the front of the property.

The Lookout is an ideal base for exploring the coastline and its nature reserves, enjoying direct access to the coastal path and cycleways.

Venturing further afield, Gower Peninsular an area of outstanding natural beauty is situated to the East, and Pembrokeshire Coast National Park to the West. That’s if you can tear yourself away from relaxing and enjoying the views from the south facing balcony. You may also hear the skylarks in the sand dunes and oystercatchers on the beach.

Ideal for two couples or families of four, with flexible bedroom accommodation. You can even bring one well behaved dog.

Accommodation

The Lookout has a large open plan lounge and kitchen area with a small sea facing balcony to enjoy the sun and views. The lounge has two three-seater settees and an armchair, so plenty of room for lounging, complete with 43” Smart TV.

The kitchen is well equipped with integrated fridge and freezer, drinks fridge, microwave, washing machine and tumble dryer. Along with a dining table and chairs for four.

The master bedroom has a double bed, with sea views from the window, where you can see Whiteford Lighthouse in the distance. Complete with a Smart TV and recently refitted ensuite shower room.

The second bedroom offers the flexibility of a king size bed, or twin beds, making The Lookout ideal for two couples or a family of four. There are views over the harbour and Burry Port Town.

The main bathroom offers a spacious shower area (please note there is no bath at this property).

To the outside of the property is a designated parking space for one car, a secure bike store and a gate leading directly onto the Wales Coastal Path.

Please note, there is no lift at the property.

Nearby

The Lookout is conveniently situated in the harbour area, with a tea-room and creperie a few minutes walk away. It is an eight minute walk to the town centre with a small Co-op store, a lovely bakery, takeaways, bars and restaurants. There is even a train station and Brompton Bike hire.

Ideal for beach lovers and nature lovers with miles of beach on the doorstep to explore. A short drive away you will find the Wildfowl and Wetlands Centre a great place for nature lovers to visit. Cyclists are well catered for with thirteen miles of cycle route along the Millennium Coastal Path which can be accessed from outside the property.

Neighbouring Pembrey has a race circuit with regular events for motor racing fans and a beautiful country park with seven miles of blue flag beach. For horse racing fans Ffos Las Racecourse is less than a twenty minute drive away. The town of Kidwelly and its Norman castle are a short drive away and the National Botanic Garden of Wales is approximately half hour drive away. The gardens can be enjoyed whatever the weather with the world's largest single span glasshouse.

Further away to the East is the Gower Peninsular, an area of outstanding natural beauty with its many scenic beaches. To the West is Pembrokeshire Coast National Park famous for its beaches, cliffs, islands and wildlife. That’s if you can tear yourself away from relaxing and enjoying the views from the south facing balcony. You may also hear the skylarks in the sand dunes and oystercatchers on the beach.



Located in Burry Port, this apartment is near the beach. The Ffwrnes Theatre and Kidwelly Industrial Museum are cultural highlights, and some of the area's landmarks include Burry Port Lighthouse and Plas Llanelly House. The Play King and WWT Llanelli Wetland Centre are also worth visiting. Take an opportunity to explore the area for outdoor excitement like cycling and other activities like birdwatching.
