The space
Tarset Tor is situated in the Northumberland National Park within the Dark Skies Park. It is also near Kielder Water and Kielder Forest Park which have become a focus for outdoor enthusiasts who appreciate the region’s rugged terrain and outstanding opportunities for adventure. Tarset Tor is ideally situated for a wide range of activities, being in close proximity to Kielder mountain bike trails, the Reivers Cycle Route, 7Stanes network and River Tyne fishing, as well as the famous coast-to-coast byway, Pennine Way and a superb selection of golf courses.
Tarset Tor has contacts with many local activity providers and specialist instructors, and can create a tailored itinerary to suit individual requirements.
Located in Hexham, this lodge is in a rural area and on a river. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Northumberland National Park and Kielder Water and Forest Park, while Bellingham Heritage Centre and Chesters Roman Fort are cultural highlights.
