Fully refurbished to a very high standard the cottage boasts new kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine, a cosy sun room and comfortable lounge. The cottage is provided with the most modern energy efficient heating throughout and a wood burning stove in the lounge. You can stretch out in the king size bed and watch tv as there is a second set in the bedroom. The bathroom has an smart illuminated mirror and razor point together with a heated towel rail for the fluffy towels which are provided.. the cottage may be suitable for the less mobile as all on one level
Outside there is an enclosed garden and a patio area with garden furniture to enjoy the sun.
On street parking is available on this quiet road.
Norham Castle and the river walk by the River Tweed are close by. The village has an award winning butcher's shop, an artisan baker, a general store and a country shop for fishing and shooting equipement. There are two pubs in the village where food and real ale is on offer
This cottage is located in Berwick-upon-Tweed. Norham Castle and St Cuthbert's Church are local landmarks, and some of the area's attractions include The Swan Centre for Leisure and Eyemouth Maritime Centre. Eyemouth Museum and Coldingham Priory are also worth visiting.
