Westfield is a short distance from Hawkhurst High Street, but you would never know it from the amazing view at the back where the cottage looks out over the garden and endless fields beyond.  The cottage is attached to the main house but has its own separate entrance through a secure side gate.  It is a short walk up the hill into Hawkhurst where there are shops and restaurants and an excellent cinema, the Kino, that shows a good range of films.  In the other direction is the Moor where there are further shops, a playground and good pubs.  It is a superb base from which to visit the lovely gardens of the Weald including Sissinghurst, Great Dixter and Pashley Manor as well as the coast at Rye and Hastings.   Shop: 0.5 mile Pub: 1 mile Coast: 15 miles

The cottage is accessed through a secure side gate and over a decked area
Ground Floor:
Sitting/Dining Room has one leather sofa and one Italian designed sofabed, open fireplace, well stocked bookshelves, dining table and chairs, TV with Sky
Kitchen with electric double oven and hob, fridge with freezing compartment, microwave and washing machine
Bedroom has a double bed, bedside tables, wardrobe and chest of drawers
Bathroom with shower over the bath, washbasin and w.c

Garden: A private decked area with table and chairs overlooks the extensive grounds which encompass gardens and adjacent fields.
Parking: Off road, in front of main house.
Heating:  Radiators are thermostatically controlled from the main house, the open fire is very effective and additional electric heaters are available if required. 
Also provided: First basket of eco-logs and coal, subsequent baskets supplied at cost price.
Notes: There is a studio in the grounds which holds a variety of workshops, please request the schedule if interested in joining in.
Security Deposit:   A deposit of £50 is payable on arrival.
