Seagulls has an area set aside to experience traditional games such as Victorian billiards, pub skittles, bagatelle and tiddlywinks etc, the kids will love it.

The area is still relatively undiscovered and rests in an Area of Natural Beauty. Go left out of the front door and within 3 minutes you are on Newry Esplanade, with its variety of little sand/shingle beaches and rock pools. If you are coming with a dinghy/canoe you can launch directly off the beach. Perhaps enjoy a picnic or ice cream in the sunken gardens. This is a great spot for walkers with the beautiful Breakwater Country Park and Holyhead Mountain at the end of the esplanade. You may be lucky and spot seals and encounter the semi wild Welsh ponies along the coastal path. There are some wonderful walks over to the North and South Stacks, famous for its light house and RSPB reserve, where you can get a birds eye view of the cruise ships that come to visit Holyhead from around the world.

Turn right out of the front door and you will come to the town, with its selection of quaint shops and eateries. Off the high street is a bridge that will take you to the railway station and port for a day trip to Dublin where you can visit Molly Malone. 3 minutes away is a children’s indoor play area, so you can back and enjoy a coffee while the kids let off steam.

A major draw every year is Holyhead Festival which takes place during the last weekend of July. People come from all over the UK to watch the live performances and the Majorettes. Straddling this weekend is also a funfair that lasts for a fortnight, where you can become a teenager again and have some real fun. The artist Howard Marriott once lived here and many of his paintings adorn the walls at Seagulls.

A little further afield Anglesey is home to a host of visitor attractions including a Butterfly Palace, Anglesey Sea Zoo and Snowdonia with its myriad of exciting activities. There are many castles nearby and of course, in our opinion, some of the best beaches in the world such as Trearddur Bay, Porth Dafarch, and Treaeth Cymyran. Beach 500 yards. Shop, pub and restaurant 500 yards.
Free WiFi

There are open, steep, spiral or narrow stairs at the property.

Located in Holyhead, this cottage is by the sea. South Stack Lighthouse and Llynon Mill are local landmarks, and some of the area's attractions include Holyhead Maritime Museum and Ellins Tower Visitor Centre. Spend some time exploring the area's activities, including golfing.
