A spacious detached house that sleeps 12. Characterful open plan kitchen, lounge and outdoor patio area, with stunning views of Gouthwaite Reservoir and Yorkshire countryside. It features beams and Barn hole windows. There's a downstairs bedroom with ensuite and 3 more bedrooms and bathroom on the 1st floor. All have king-sized beds; 2 also have additional single beds. Ideal for walkers, cyclists and exploring the Yorkshire Dales, the property offers parking and privacy.
Reservoir View Holiday Cottages have a unique position parallel to Gouthwaite Reservoir and are surrounded by rolling countryside. There are many walks on the doorstep and some gorgeous villages and towns close by for all your amenities.

It is important to take Travel insurance out to protect you against any unforeseen situations that prevent you from travelling.

You will also be given the choice between paying a refundable deposit (This option has a small admin fee which is 2% in the UK) or buying a non-refundable damage waiver. We suggest you buy the damage waiver as this protects you in case you cause accidental damage during a booking.

Pet policy:
Dogs only, up to £20 per dog. 3 dogs maximum. Dogs must be well-behaved.

There are lovely villages in all directions that are close by. There are country pubs in Lofthouse, Middlesmoor, Wath and Pateley Bridge and a little further a field you have the fantastic spa town of Harrogate, Masham, Skipton, Leeds and York
The entrance to Reservoir View Holiday Cottages has clear signage elevated near the wrought Iron gates just before the village of Ramsgill. There is a cobbled driveway which has ample off street parking for many vehicles.
Swallow barn has a wrap around patio/terrace area with great views all around. Reservoir View Holiday cottages includes 3 properties all on one site, so the space and privacy is vast. The properties are situated in an "Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty" and so you are surrounded by gorgeous landscapes, views and wildlife to enjoy. Reservoir View Holiday cottages can be booked all together or just this property on its own. Each property has a private outdoor area and plenty of parking. We are situated on the famous Nidderdale Way walking trail and there is an abundance of lovely walking, cycling and motorbike routes to explore. There are local villiages close by that have country pubs and restaurants for you to enjoy and the nearby town of Pateley Bridge (just 5 miles away) has many dinning options and independent shops selling delicious local produce.

A vehicle will be required to get to the property. Public transport is available in the nearby town and taxi companies are available, but infrequent so having your own vehicle will be desirable for exploring the lovely countryside.

Located in Harrogate, this vacation home is in a rural area and on a lake. Parcevall Hall Gardens and Fountains Abbey are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Grimwith Reservoir and Studley Roger Seven Bridges Walk. Log Heights and Himalayan Garden & Sculpture Park are also worth visiting.
