Salhouse is a lovely village with many pretty cottages and a 12th Century church. A short walk from the village will bring you to Salhouse Broad, one of the renowned Norfolk Broads. Within a few miles of the village is Ranworth Broad, The Broads Wildlife Centre, Wroxham, the capital of the Broads, with the historic city of Norwich just six miles away. Boats and bikes can be hired locally to enable you to discover the delights of this area in depth. The village has a shop and two pubs which serve food.

The Old Post Room has recently been renovated and is a bright, spacious property, ideal for family holidays. The village shop is close by and the Bell Inn which serves meals is only a short walk. If you wish to explore further this is a great location as Salhouse is surrounded by the meandering waterways of The Broads, and the sandy beaches and the vibrant city of Norwich are only a short drive away.
