The area's natural beauty can be seen at Donisthorpe Woodland Country Park and Saltersford Wood Country Park, while Sharpe's Pottery Museum and Ashby Museum are cultural highlights. Swadlincote Ski and Snowboard Centre and Twycross Zoo are also worth visiting. Break out the clubs and hit the links with a golf course nearby, or seek out an adventure with horse riding.
