Kessingland is just a few minutes south of Lowestoft and perfect for families, walkers, cyclists, and nature lovers. Just a couple of minutes will see you on the beach and this forms part of an award-winning Suffolk coastline. In a matter of minutes, you can walk to the local pub, fish and chip shop, restaurant, and shop.
If you fancy venturing out a little further then you’ll be glad to know that the Suffolk Heritage coast is full of pretty coastal towns such as Southwold, Dunwich and Aldeburgh, all within easy driving distance. Local and popular attractions include Africa Alive, Pleasurewood Hills Theme Park, Lowestoft Harbour, South Pier, Oulton Broad and Somerleyton Gardens.
Slightly further afield, but still easily accessible, you can head into Norfolk and discover Great Yarmouth’s Golden Mile, with a host of seaside attractions. Alternatively, you can be in the midst of the Norfolk Broads in under 45 minutes. Whatever you choose, after a busy day exploring, you’ll be glad to head back to the well catered chalet for some well-earned relaxation.
Located in Lowestoft, this cottage is on a river. Dip Farm Pitch and Putt and Beccles Lido are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those looking for area attractions can visit Africa Alive! and Henstead Exotic Gardens. Looking to enjoy an event or a game while in town? See what's happening at UK Parachuting or Crown Meadow. Take an opportunity to explore the area for water adventures such as fishing.
