Within 3.7 miles, you will find a shop, and within 0.3 miles, a pub, and please note that this is a non-smoking property. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Town: Whitchurch is a small village on the outskirts of the Royal Forest of Dean, not far from the small market towns of Ross-on-Wye and Monmouth. Whitchurch features a flourishing village shop and coffee shop selling locally based items, a bar, and a restaurant, and it also boasts wonderful walks in all directions. Symonds Yat is an attractive Herefordshire village that spans the Wye River and is home to a beautiful natural limestone rock that attracts nature lovers and rock climbers. The village also features a butterfly farm and a maze. As England's largest oak forest and a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the Royal Forest of Dean is home to a wide variety of outdoor pursuits like horseback riding, abseiling, caving, countless cycle paths, and even a high wire rope course. Fishing, golf, and kayaking are just a few of the other less strenuous pursuits available. Goodrich is a charming village not far away, home to a Marcher Castle (built in the 12th century), a local store, and not one but two excellent eateries. Visit Ross-on-Wye, a riverbank town with many timbered Tudor houses, riverside walks, and fine shops, bars, and restaurants; or old Monmouth, with its blend of Georgian homes and Victorian courtyards. The Black Mountains, Brecon Beacons National Park, the Malvern Hills, Hereford, and Hay-on-Wye are all within driving distance and make for wonderful day outings.

Located in Ross-on-Wye, this cottage is in a rural area and on a river. Nelson Museum & Local History Centre and Sculpture Trail are cultural highlights, and some of the area's attractions include Symonds Yat West Leisure Park and Oldfield Forge. Perrygrove Railway & Treetop Adventure and Way2go Adventures are also worth visiting. Fishing offers a great chance to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with hiking and cycling nearby.
