Situated within the beautiful Blairquhan Estate, McIntyre cottage is the ideal retreat for a secluded short break. Surrounded by stunning views of unspoiled Ayrshire countryside, over 200 acres of private woodland, a garden pond and a huge walled garden, this two-bedroom self-catering cottage offers all amenities our guests will ever need to make their stay very comfortable and unforgettable. .
Mclntyre Cottage is one of the conversions from the former Coachman's House, Harness rooms and Stables of Blairquhan Castle. Mclntyre Cottage has a large fully equipped kitchen/dining/living room upstairs with electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer dryer, digital TV and a spectacular view over the valley of the River Girvan.
Downstairs there are two bedrooms, 1 double and 1 twin and a bathroom with shower over the bath.
This cottage is located in Maybole. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Culzean Country Park and Croy Beach, while Robert Burns Birthplace Museum and Burns Cottage and Museum are cultural highlights. Scottish Maritime Museum and Girvan Community Garden are also worth visiting.
