Set out over three floors, this semi-detached property is full of character with period features beautifully blended with modern, stylish fittings. You will find flagstone flooring, exposed brick, beamed ceilings and a wood burning stove pride of place in the inglenook fireplace. The master bedroom benefits from en-suite facilities, and the family bathroom boasts a freestanding roll top bath. The loft room although holds a double bed, is best suited to one guest with the headroom being restricted in areas. There’s a cosy pub and a fish and chip shop a stone’s throw from the property, and a further two pubs nearby, both serving delicious food (including The White Horse featured in episodes of the BBC’s "Last of the Summer Wine"). The bustling town of Holmfirth is a scenic walk away, taking around 30 minutes.
Holmfirth has an abundance of shops, cafés, tea rooms, restaurants and pubs, and is even home to its very own vineyard which offers meals, tours and wine tasting events. Located on the edge of the fabulous Peak District National Park means there are endless outdoor opportunities for walkers and cyclists will relish the chance to recreate the 2015 Tour de Yorkshire at Holme Moss. Widely recognised as the backdrop for the record-breaking BBC comedy ‘Last of the Summer Wine’, you can take a tour around the variety of film locations, or alternatively visit the Picture drome which is a fabulous venue for live music and events.
