Nearby there are plenty of attractions for you to look around, including the Horseshoe Falls and Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, which offers beautiful walks, barge trips and views. Within the town of Llangollen there is also the Llangollen railway station, a heritage railway for steam powered engines which you can board for journeys up the River Dee Valley. There are many local activities available including a mountain bike centre, white water rafting, canoeing, canal walks and barge trips, fishing, clay pigeon shooting and walking.
