Suitable for couples, friends and small families including all your doggies, this cottage provides everything you need for a memorable staycation.
Boasting a games room with a variety of games, a lavish dining room complete with Grand Piano, a cosy living room leading to a sunny conservatory and through to the large, enclosed garden and not forgetting the bespoke kitchen well equipped with everything you need to cook up a lovely meal. Upstairs you are treated to 2 large bedrooms and bathroom with a roll top bath with shower over, although you will not need to queue with a 2nd shower room available off the games room.
Kimbolton is one of the smallest towns in Cambridgeshire but has plenty of personality! The River Kym runs through where you can enjoy lovely riverside walks. The broad High Street, said to be one of the loveliest in England, is now a conservation area and enjoys many beautiful, listed buildings. With links to royalty including Catherine of Aragon and King Harold Godwinson, there is much history to discover in the local area. With local shops and a pub, you can find what you need within the town. Should you require more amenities, you are close to the larger towns of St Neots, Huntingdon, Rushden, Kettering, Northampton, Peterborough, and Cambridge. The surrounding countryside is very popular with classic car and motorcycle enthusiasts due to its beautiful country roads, something the owners have great interest in!
Just a few miles are the beautiful Grafham Water, which is a huge reservoir with a brilliant outdoor sports centre. You can cycle, walk and take part in all manner of watersports like sailing and windsurfing. Other nearby attractions include Hamerton Zoo Park, Wicksteed Park, and there’s a spa and golf resort at Wyboston Lakes. For shopping enthusiasts, a trip to Rushden Lakes is a must with a wide selection of high street names as well as a huge choice of eateries and leisure activities. Also, a ’must visit’ is the nearby university city of Cambridge with its guided walks, numerous museums, including the famous Fitzwilliam, punting on the River Cam, open top bus tours and great shops, cafés and restaurants, 29 miles.
