The surrounding area...

St Anne's is a 'leafy' area in nature, with many tree lined streets and home to a statue of the legendary comedian Les Dawson. It has a beautiful promenade perfect for walks, runs, cycling, or even just sitting on one of the many benches taking in the sea air! Centrally located is the picturesque Ashton Gardens, great for picnics, playing, wandering, sitting, feeding the ducks, crown green bowling...and more!

You won't be stuck for things to do in St. Anne's with lots of activities available including swimming, golf, tennis, fishing, boating, The Island Cinema and the brand new Splash Zone on the Promenade.

You will find a selection of local boutique shops on your doorstep and there is a good choice of Supermarkets including Sainsbury’s, Aldi, M&S Food, and Tesco express, all within walking distance of the apartment.

In St Anne's, there are several restaurants and cafes, with Fresh Cafe, No Filter Coffee House, The Black Sheep Tea Room and That's Amore being a few of our favourites. A few miles away in Lytham there are more restaurants, pubs and wine bars catering for all tastes, there's even a fabulous cafe tucked away at the picturesque Lytham Hall.

Historically, St Anne's is home to The Pier which was constructed in 1885, but partially destroyed by fire in 1974 and again in 1982. Part of The Pier is still accessible, housing an amusement arcade and the Deck House Café at the end of the pier.

Nearby is Blackpool, a 'family favourite' resort, located 5 miles down the coast and easily accessible from St Anne's by car or public transport. Idle away the hours along The Golden Mile, view the Illuminations, roller coaster your way around Blackpool Pleasure Beach or go to the top of The Blackpool Tower! There's certainly something for everybody.
