For the duration of your stay, our team will be on hand to ensure you and your wedding party will be able to relax, celebrate, and recuperate as if Gilmerton were your own home.
Gilmerton House collaborates with a curated list of local and independent caterers and suppliers, from stylists and florists to photographers and musicians, enabling you to tailor your day to your tastes and imagination.
You are welcome to hold your ceremony in one of the spectacular reception rooms, within the grounds of the estate, or at one of the charming local churches in Aberlady or Athelstaneford.

With such an impressive selection of links courses on its doorstep and only a short hop from St Andrews, the home of golf, Gilmerton House is the ideal base for a world-class golfing retreat.
Coupled with our close links to some of Scotland’s leading golf travel companies, we also work with some of the finest local chefs, whisky distilleries, and wine merchants, enabling us to design and curate unique and memorable tours to this historical corner of the golfing world.
Gilmerton House - Inside
This majestic house consists of 6 exquisite reception rooms and 10 luxurious bedrooms with their own bathrooms. Sleeps up to 20 guests. Essentials, linen, towels, TV & WiFi provided.
Please note: The property can be fully catered, but as standard in the price it is bed and breakfast. There is a fully stocked kitchen however that can be used. The house always has a staff member on-site (separate annex) to assist/oversee guests.
We invite our guests to relax and unwind in the peaceful gardens and surroundings but for those wanting a little more activity, we can offer a wide range of garden games, a stunning billiards room, table tennis table, a brand new 200-yard par 3 driving range and an expansive woodland trail for walking, running or cycling
Located in North Berwick, this vacation home is in a rural area and by the sea. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Preston Mill & Phantassie Doocot Mill and Scottish Sea Bird Center, while National Museum of Flight and John Muir House are cultural highlights. Practice your golf swing on a nearby course, or enjoy other activities in the great outdoors, such as cycling and hiking/biking trails in the area.
