Pass the Keys | Bright & Airy 2BR Townhouse | Belfast's Best Area!, Belfast

County Antrim. Sleeps up to 4

About this space
Stunning 2BR townhouse in Belfast's hippest postcode. A peaceful residential area yet a mere stone's throw from the many acclaimed cafes, bars and restaurants of Ballyhackamore. If you manage to tear yourself away from the area, a 10 min trip on the Glider will take you to the city centre and 5 mins in the other direction to the beautiful parkland of Stormont Estate. Featuring an outdoor patio, a beautiful freestanding bath and a private office, it won't take too long to feel right at home!

The space
Area
Our house is located in a great area of the city. It is in right in the middle of Ballyhackamore in East Belfast and so benefits from its close proximity to the many, many restaurants and bars which are just a few meters away on the Upper Newtownards Road. I particularly recommend Cypress Avenue for Irish cuisine, Il Piratta for its fabulous Italian food, and Acapulco to transport you to the beaches of Cancun with amazing margaritas and tacos!

It is also just on the fringes of the city centre so if you do want to head into the centre of Belfast or visit any of the city's attractions, you can jump on a quick bus, take a very reasonable taxi, or enjoy the walk through all the different neighborhoods. Victoria Park, Orange field Park and Stormont Park are all really close by and are lovely places for a morning or evening stroll or run.

House
The house has been beautifully refurbished and professionally designed with brand new plush and very comfortable furnishings. Relax in the living room with comfy sofa and 55 inch smart TV, cook a meal in the fully equipped kitchen and enjoy around the beautiful dining table, take a long hot bath in the brand new freestanding bath after a full day sightseeing, or relax on the crisp white sheets on the very soft double beds. In addition, our house also benefits from an outdoor patio where you can enjoy a morning cuppa or an evening tipple!

Heating is easily controlled via the Hive thermostat.

Convenience
For your convenience, entry is via lockbox located just beside the door so you can arrive at any time after 3pm (Don't worry if you get held up!) and free on street parking is available just outside the house.

Supermarkets
Tesco and Mark & Spencers are both very close by.

Local Restaurants
Check out some of our favourite restaurants in Ballyhackamore below: Cyprus Avenue On one of our rare jaunts over to East Belfast we found this gem – a place those more familiar with the area have been raving about to us for quite a while. A great selection of light bites, mains and more and we love the decor inside too. General Merchants Super popular brunch spot in East Belfast, with another location on the Ormeau Road as well. Great coffee and their huevos rancheros are amazing – prepare for a wait though as they don’t take bookings. Stokers Halt Pretty popular for its buy one get one free on food deal, the food on offer here is decent pub grub including burgers, steaks, chicken stacks and more. Wolf & Devour We love the burgers at Wolf & Devour, an up and coming casual eatery on the Upper Newtonards Road. Don’t be afraid to get messy with their Young Buck burger with blue cheese. Horatio Todds Another East Belfast staple, Horatio Todds has a popular tapas selection menu, as well as a host of delicious mains. The Ballyhackamore crowd love this old favourite, with its variety of bar snacks and tapas. The loaded fries are a winner here. Il Pirata Quickly gaining a reputation as one of the best places to eat in Ballyhackamore, Il Pirata is known for an old Italian favourite – an exquisite duck ragu. At the weekend they also have great sharing roasts – for those lazy Sundays when you want some great home-cooked food but can’t be bothered with the hassle yourself. Win – Win. Acapulco Moving out to Ballyhackamore, Acapulco serves up a range of fresh burritos and chillis, with great salsas and sides to go with them.
