Mumbles Apartment near to shops and beach, The Mumbles

Swansea. Sleeps up to 5

Summary:
Perfect for families and professionals, you will be close to everything the Mumbles has to offer when you stay at our centrally-located apartment - Heart of the Mumbles. Close to independent shops, boutiques, cafes and restaurants and the beach.

Stylishly decorated with plenty of space for you to relax, this apartment is the perfect place for you to enjoy your holiday on the South Wales coast, close to award winning beaches Caswell, Rotherslade and Langland.

The Space:
We are a little apartment in the Heart of the Mumbles with a parking space for one car to the side of the house, it's a tight space but big enough for a VW transporter size van with careful manoeuvring. Being on the ground floor, there are no stairs to climb except a few steps up from the living area to the double and twin bedrooms. The single room is on the same level as the living area, kitchen and bathroom.

We have an open plan lounge, dining area and kitchen. Our lounge is comfy with sofas, a fireplace and TV. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to cook meals. The dining area seats 5 people and is located close to the kitchen. There are three good size bedrooms - a double, twin and a single - with a TV, all stylishly decorated and we have added a few home comforts for you to enjoy. The bathroom has a shower and we provide welcome toiletries for you to use.

We provide books and magazines, local guides. There are children’s picture books and a pile of books for older children also.

All bed linen and towels are included, there’s a hairdryer for guests to use.

For younger guests we have a travel cot, highchair and kids crockery and cutlery.

Guest Access:
It's easy walking distance from the cottage to the lovely shops, boutiques and cafes of Newton Road and the seafront at Mumbles Road. We are five minutes drive away from the beautiful Langland Bay and Rotherslade Bay and a bit further around the coast is Caswell Bay - all lovely beaches with Surfside Cafes serving drinks and food. Langland Brasserie at Langland Bay is a must for delicious food with a beach view.

Mumbles is next to The Gower peninsula which offers vast beaches and incredible views so our apartment is a perfect place to explore the Welsh coastline and all that this area can offer you.

We have one parking space next to the house for guests to use. Other street parking is available also if needed, it does get very busy with parking as it's a residential area so if you can bring one car and use our space that would be advised.

The Neighborhood:
We love the location of our apartment in a quiet residential area of the Mumbles, right opposite us is a delicious cafe called Boo's Kitchen - go and try their food, it's amazing :)

Also around the corner is Microlot coffee, part of Mumbles Coffee with is a cool local indie brand serving amazing coffee, cakes and food. There’s also a Mumbles Coffee hatch and coffee house in Castletown Walk Arcade on Newton Road. All must visit places.

We have a fish and chip shop called Johnnies opposite the house, so convenient if you don’t fancy cooking.

For groceries there is a Marks & Spencer food, Coop and Tesco Express a short walk away alongside the independent shops on Newton Road like Cheers Wine Merchants, Stuarts Artisan Bakery & Tuckers Butchers.

You will be spoiled for choice for eateries - our favs are Croeso Lounge at Oyster Wharf and Gin & Juice for great views of the sea. Not to be missed is Joe’s Ice Cream parlour - born and bred in Mumbles itself and now a nationwide brand.

Mumbles is full of independent shops, galleries and delis, most of which are on Newton Road.

There are lovely walks along the seafront and you can explore the pier and visit the RNLI Lifeboat station at the end. There’s a children’s park on the way also.

Mumbles has its own castle called a Oystermouth castle just off Newton Road.

Getting Around:
Shops, cafes and restaurants are all within walking distance of the apartment so no need to get into your car at all if you don’t want to.

We offer one parking space with the house, there is street parking around the area, it is a busy residential area though so if you need an extra space for a second vehicle, you may need to seek one out.

Other Things to Note:
We love our guests to feel at home so we provide everything you need in the kitchen to make a meal, cosy blankets and cushions, games and books and stylish decoration and home touches.

We have wooden blinds at the windows in the twin and double bedrooms and whilst these offer privacy they do not blackout the light.

Interaction with Guests:
We are on hand if you need us via message, phone or email. Feel free to get in touch with Sarah, Wayne, Hazel or Liza if you have any issues during your stay

This condo is located in Swansea. Ceri Richards Gallery and Egypt Centre are cultural highlights, and some of the area's attractions include Clyne Gardens and Blackpill Lido. Traveling with kids? Consider LC Swansea and Swansea Observatory.
