Wood-fired Hot-tub in quirky one bed holiday home, Rudston

East Riding of Yorkshire. Sleeps up to 2

If you are looking for some R&R and peace and quiet, then look no further, Honey & Hive self-catering holiday cottages have you covered. We are a family-run business offering a modern peaceful getaway. Whether you're sitting in the hot tub listening to the owls on an evening, going on an adventure to enjoy one of the many rural walks in the area, or even enjoying a meal at our local community-owned pub, we are confident you will enjoy your stay with us and your escape to the country.
We are based in the quiet village of Rudston, the longest-occupied village in the country! We also have the oldest monolith in the world (2000AD) which is situated at the church. There are many circular works for taking dogs and the local pub does great food, it is a 5 min walk from the property. It is a short 15 min drive to the beach at Bridlington. There is a lot of wildlife around us, from birds of prey and owls in the evening to partridge and pheasants.

There are many walks in the area and lots of places to visit. We have 3 major cities within an hour's drive - Leeds, York and Hull.

The beach at Bridlington is a 15 min drive from the property as well as close proximity to Scarbrough, Filey and Whitby.
We offer a peaceful retreat from the busy world, and we expect our guests to treat our neighbours and us with respect and be considerate of other people when using the outside spaces - we are not a party house and we live on site.

We happily accept pets, we will accept 1 dog on the instant booking - if you are looking at bringing more please message us first. We don't allow puppies on the property and don't allow animals to be left on their own or on the furniture.
We will provide enough wood to ensure you can have a hot tub for every day of your stay. If you want to use the chiminea then you will need to bring your own logs or we will refill your log store for £10. We are happy for you to bring your own seasoned logs with you if you prefer. If you are looking to use the BBQ please bring your own charcoal - we have BBQ utensils.
Our village is surrounded by working farms and a working estate. There are flys, smells and animal noises.

Located in Driffield, this apartment is in a rural area. Bayle Museum and The Spa Bridlington are cultural highlights, and some of the area's landmarks include Burton Agnes Hall and Bridlington Priory. Treasure Island Mini Golf and Gala Bingo are also worth visiting.
