This second floor apartment, with use of a beach hut, was built as a hotel in the 1930s and was completely refurbished into flats in August 2017. The apartment is situated just five minutes away from the local sandy beaches, Bournemouth Town Centre and the Bournemouth Reform Synagogue. Also walking distance away is Bournemouth University Lansdowne Campus. Bournecoast have another apartment in this block if families wanted to holiday together. We are proud to announce that this property was awarded a certificate of excellence by TripAdvisor in 2019 and was an Award Winner in the 2022 Destination Management Board Tourism Awards.

THE PROPERTY:
Double Bedroom (with ensuite shower and toilet) - Twin Bedroom (with ensuite shower and toilet). The lounge/diner has a FLATSCREEN TV - FREEVIEW - BLUE RAY DVD - FREE WIFI (subject to availability from Internet Service Provider). There is a separate kitchen which includes an ELECTRIC HOB - ELECTRIC OVEN - WASHER/DRYER - FRIDGE - MICROWAVE. There is a communal bicycle store in the building. Cycling equipment (2 adult bikes, 2 adult helmets, 2 bike locks, 1 bike pump & a bike toolkit) can be used by the visitors for free (at their own risk). Information will be provided within the property about how to access the bicycles (terms and conditions apply and need to be agreed to with the owners prior to use). This accommodation comes with one allocated parking space. GAS/ELECTRIC - INCLUDED.

THE BEACH HUT:
USE OF A BEACH HUT IS INCLUDED with holiday rentals of this property (subject to access to the promenade due to events being held). The Beach Hut is located at the popular East Cliff beach and is is very well equipped with seats, a variety of beach games and activities and a triple gas stove with cutlery and plenty of picnic cups and plates, plus sun umbrellas and a picnic table (please note that these beach huts are for daytime use only). Details of how to access the beach hut are located in the property. IMPORTANT: 2023 events which restrict access to the beach hut are on 31/8/23 to 3/9/23 and 7/10/23 to 8/10/23.

NOTES:
Please note there are two small flights of stairs (approximately 12 steps each) to access the apartment. Linen & towels included for holiday lets are provided by Resort 2 Us. EPC Grade - E. Please note that holiday lets are restricted to a maximum of 31 days per visitor on this property.

LOCAL AREA:
There are excellent local transport links, as it is on the main bus route to Bournemouth town centre (which is also walking distance away) with frequent buses to Poole, Christchurch, Boscombe and surrounding areas. It is also walking distance from Bournemouth train station, two minutes by car from Asda supermarket and five minutes by car from the A338 leading to the M27. As a convenience for your holiday there is a Co-Op convenience store and cash point on the ground floor of the building. Bournemouth benefits from having Bournemouth Pier, Bournemouth Pier is a traditional pier with beautiful views over the bay with the Isle of Wight on one side and the Purbeck Hills on the other. You will also find on the Pier an all weather adventure activity centre ‘RockReef‘. The centre features a range of attractions including Clip ‘n’ Climb, Highline, Pier Cave, ‘Leap of Faith’ jumping challenge and vertical drop slide. Located at the very end of the Bournemouth Pier and the first of its kind in the world, the PierZip is an experience not to be missed! The pier has a wide selection of attractions, retail outlets and entertainment. Just a short walk from the Pier you will come to the beautiful Lower Gardens leading up into Bournemouth Town Centre with all of its fantastic shopping and tourist attractions ranging from Rock and Pop Concerts at the Bournemouth International Centre to Art Exhibitions, and the numerous restaurants, theatres, shops and comedy clubs, forming Bournemouth’s centre for Leisure and Tourism.
