1A Market Square is a lovely stone-built terraced cottage in Tideswell in the Peak District and can sleep four people in two bedrooms. The accommodation is set over three floors. There is a ground floor well-equipped kitchen with breakfast bar. The sitting room is located on the first floor with a shower room. Two double bedrooms can be found on the second floor. Outside there is a gravelled seating area and off road parking for one car. 1A Market Square is a perfect cottage in a lovely location.
Note: One well-behaved dog welcome.

Region: The ultimate in “year-round” appeal, the Peak District offers countryside, picturesque villages and magnificent scenery. It touches upon six counties and encloses 555 square miles of open moorland, flowing rivers, and wooded dales.

Town: The village of Tideswell stands in the heart of the Peak District National Park. Famous for its fine church dedicated to St John the Baptist, known as "The Cathedral of the Peak", the village is also noted for its well dressing and carnival wakes. There is excellent walking with rugged peaks to the north, gentle hills and dales to the south and Millers Dale just outside the village. Mam Tor and Castleton are only a few miles away and the popular Spa town of Buxton is within a 15 minute drive. Tideswell has many fine country inns, a chemist, butchers, bakers and much more including a convenient supermarket open daily until 10pm. The pretty little market town of Bakewell is also just a short drive away and well worth a visit.

Located in Buxton, this cottage is on a river. Eyam Hall and Buxton Opera House are local landmarks, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Peak District National Park and Derbyshire Dales National Nature Reserve. Peak Volumes and Bloomers Original Bakewell Puddings are also worth visiting. Fishing offers a great chance to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with horse riding, rock climbing, and cycling nearby.
