Tyn Coed - Four Bedroom Apartment, Sleeps 7, Moelfre

Gwynedd. Sleeps up to 7

This light and airy apartment is the perfect holiday getaway for families or groups of friends looking to discover one of Anglesey's prettiest villages and the stunning coastal scenery that surrounds it. Located in a convenient position overlooking Moelfre, enjoy panoramic views across the sea or take a stroll down to the harbour and pebble beach with its shops, cafes, pub and restaurant. The village has a fascinating maritime history with a memorial to the shipwreck of the Royal Charter and a famous lifeboat station. The Anglesey Coastal Path is stunning and there are many popular circular walks locally. The nearby beaches are some of Anglesey's best and, whether you are looking for sunbathing, water sports, crabbing or rock pooling, there’s something for everyone. Dolphins can even be spotted off the coast. Further afield, Anglesey Sea Zoo (17 miles), the National Trust's Plas Newydd (13 miles), Beaumaris Castle (12 miles) and the RSPB reserve at South Stack (25 miles) are all fantastic days out.
This spacious, first-floor apartment is warm and welcoming with a distinctly Alpine feel. Entering via stairs from the ground-floor sunroom, the living room is bright and breezy with timber-clad sloping ceilings, large skylights and glass sliding doors to the balcony. Three plush sofas offer plenty of space to relax after a day of exploration. The fully equipped kitchen/diner is finished in a mid-century style which complements the property well. A handy separate utility room adjoins the owner’s accommodation, with shared use of a washing machine and tumble dryer. There are four cosy bedrooms: one attractive double, one twin and a further double bedroom accessed via a single room. All the rooms again feature timber-clad sloping ceilings and large skylights that drink in the light. The lovely family bathroom has a wood-panelled bath and a separate shower cubicle.
Outside, a large balcony wraps around the living room and offers al fresco dining with a breathtaking backdrop of coastal beauty. Downstairs, the suntrap patio presents further outdoor dining opportunities, and guests have shared use of the owner’s large lawn garden.
