Butterton Loft is very close to some really great places to visit including Alton Towers theme park, the stunning Chatsworth House and the beautiful Peak District villages. We can recommend places locally to ride horses, go sailing or hire canal boats and we have some stunning walks right on the doorstep including the Manifold Valley and Thors Cave.
There are 2 super pubs serving great locally sourced food just a couple of minutes away and a host of others within 10 or 15 minutes that are all worth a visit!

Shared Spaces
The 2 holiday cottages at Butterton Moor House share some of the wonderful facilities on offer, such as the swimming pool, the pizza oven area and the billiards room. Guests are normally happy to agree times to use these areas between themselves although we are happy to facilitate if needed.

Generally we ask guests to use the shared facilities between the hours of 09:00 and 21:00, however, let us know if you would like to use any areas outside these times and we will be as accommodating as possible.

Pool Availability
The swimming pool is also used by our local community on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays and therefore is not available between approximately 0930 and 1730 on these days, however you are free to swim before or after these times. On all other days the pool is solely for our guests to use. Throughout Christmas there is no local community swimming and the pool is solely for guests during the holiday period.

Guests having Visitors for the Day
