The Old Chapel is situated in the village of Grosmont, which has its very own castle for history enthusiasts, and there are plenty of other castles nearby, including Skenfrith Castle, 4 miles, and White Castle, 4½ miles. There are plenty of walks to be had from the property as its situated on the Wye Valley, and the River Usk is 9 miles away.
The market town of Abergavenny is 11 miles away and has an abundance of shops, restaurants, pubs and coffee shops. It also holds its award-winning food festival every September. For those wanting to visit the historic town of Monmouth, is just a 12-mile drive from the property, and there are some local restaurants and pubs in the surrounding villages.
