Church Cottage is a picturesque, spacious cottage nestled in the rolling Pembrokeshire countryside near the hamlet of Scleddau, and around a 5-minute drive to the harbour town of Fishguard. This delightful property is situated along a private track and surrounded by 23 acres of meadows and woodland with a babbling stream running through the garden to provide a blissfully relaxing holiday for friends and family. Here you can get away from it all and relax with bird song, enjoy a plethora of country walks or take a 5-minute drive to Fishguard, where you have a selection of cafés, galleries, restaurants and a pretty harbour in the lower town. From here you can join some of the 186 miles of truly epic coastline within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, which runs from Cardigan in the north to Amroth in the south. Within a 15-minute drive you can discover Newport Sands, Popit Sands and Abercastle, where you can swim, surf, fish, sunbathe or enjoy a spot of golf.
Church Cottage is mostly on one level with underfloor heating and an air handling system throughout. On the first floor the master bedroom boasts an adjoining bathroom with a spa bath and a study area, whilst on the ground floor you can enjoy a spacious and characterful open-plan kitchen/living room complete with exposed stone walls, beams, inglenook fireplace and wood burner, perfect for cooking that special meal or relaxing in front of the wood burner after a busy day exploring. Formal dining to celebrate that special meal can be done in the dining room with French doors leading to a patio area for alfresco dining. Each bedroom has been lovingly furnished, with two bedrooms offering French doors onto patio areas with views across the well kept gardens.
The north Pembrokeshire coastline is truly stunning and a must to explore. Here you can discover the lighthouse and the rugged cliffs at Strumble Head, a few miles away. A 45-minute drive away is the coastal resort of Tenby, surrounded by medieval walls built to fortify the town and are still in place to this very day, complete with arches into the town leading to cobbled streets and a beautiful harbour and stunning beach.
