Good walks and cycle routes are available straight from the door. The east coast of Lincolnshire is just an hour away where you can visit the tradition seaside resort of Cleethorpes. Head to the City of Hull and visit the Deep Subsea aquarium, head into Lincoln to see its famous cathedral and castle, or enjoy lunch alongside the boats at the Brayford Waterside. The antiques centres on the old airfield at Hemswell Cliff are popular with collectors and Doncaster, Worksop and Newark hold regular international antique fairs - the show grounds are all within 45 minutes. Shops, pubs and restaurants are all within ¼ mile.
