Tucked away down a quiet Sussex country lane, away from the noise of the A22 , but in close enough proximity to be able to explore the area with ease, although you will need a car. Renovated A a few years ago , Barley cottage has a spacious area downstairs , still retaining charm and old beams of its past life as a grain store to the farm. Tastefully converted into a 2 bedrooms with en suite and a more open plan layout downstairs. Under floor heating and Wi-Fi available, this cottage also boasts a separate fridge and freezer , dishwasher and washing machine. A small outside garden to the front and courtyard to the rear.
Many footpaths are almost on the doorstep , including the Weald way and the Vanguards way. Pubs are plentiful and a short distance , fresh local produce can be bought at either the local village shop in Muddles Green or at a variety of farm shops close by.
The South downs are about 15 minutes drive from the cottage , and Eastbourne is 25 minutes. We also live close to Ashdown Forest , and many national trust properties including Burling Gap and Seven Sisters , Sissinghurst castle and Batemans.

Located in Lewes, this cottage is in a rural area and near theme parks. Horam Park Golf Club and Blackberry Farm Park are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore High Weald and Arlington Reservoir and Nature Reserve. Traveling with kids? Consider Blackstock Farm and Knockhatch Adventure Park.
