You can arrive by taking a scenic drive around Loch Venachar (A821) or go across the 3 lochs forest drive. Trunkie is next to the Byre Inn pub & restaurant.

The modern cottage provides all commodities : fully equipped kitchen, coffee machine, microwave, toaster, kettle, dishwasher, cooker/oven.
There is a wood burning stove in the open plan sittingroom/ dining area to use and a comfortable sofa to relax after woodland walks and days out in front of DVDs, books and board games provided.
The patio and private garden give you plenty of space to relax outside and enjoy bird watching and pheasant/deer spotting.
The cottage is located next to the newly renovated Byre Inn pub for easy access drinks.
We can also offer fishing for pike/trout within our grounds as Trunkie is located by the Black Water river and within 1 minute walk from the 3 Lochs Forest of the Trossachs National Park.

Located in Callander, this cottage is in a rural area and in the mountains. Galleria Luti and Hamilton Toy Collection are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Great Trossachs Path - East and Callander - Balquhidder Trail. Scottish Real Ale Shop and Go Country, Forest Hills Water Sport Centre are also worth visiting. Discover the area's water adventures with rafting and fishing nearby, or enjoy the great outdoors with hiking/biking trails and hunting.
