Region: Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.

Town: There is no better place to witness a breathtaking dawn than at Beaumaris, a famous mediaeval town on the Isle of Anglesey that sits on the Menai Strait and overlooks the Snowdonia mountain range. Historical landmarks include a Victorian pier, jail, and courthouse in addition to a mediaeval castle going back to the reign of Edward I; the area is also well-known as a major sailing centre. Historic Beaumaris still has several of its original mediaeval streets. The town's atmosphere, variety of architectural styles and periods, scale, open areas, roof types, and general quality all play significant roles. The town offers a variety of shopping, dining, and drinking establishments, as well as outdoor activities like fishing and boat tours and indoor activities like a golf course. Red Wharf Bay is a wide bay along the coast; in Welsh, it is known as Traeth Coch (Red Beach), and the area is famous for its breathtaking sunsets. Safe bathing, great family fun, fishing, and miles of gorgeous scenic walks are all possible due to the bay's low depth of only 10 square miles of water when the tide is out. And if you want to travel any further, you can reach Dublin via the port of Holyhead's frequent ferries. Beaumaris is well situated on the south coast of the scenic Isle of Anglesey, making it a great central base from which to explore the rest of Wales.

Located in Beaumaris, this apartment is on the beach. Beaumaris Courthouse & Gaol and Menai Bridge are local landmarks, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Eryri National Park and Anglesey Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Looking to enjoy an event or a game while in town? See what's happening at Plas Menai National Watersports Centre or Venue Cymru. Fishing offers a great chance to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with cycling and hiking nearby.
