Cosy rural cottage hideaway on historic Crinan Canal, Cairnbaan, Lochgilphead

Argyll. Sleeps up to 4

Karibu Cottage is a cosy, modern cottage snuggled in a wooded corner just set back from the beautiful Crinan Canal. The house is toasty warm and very quiet so if you’re looking for peace and quiet with a stunning outlook and a good night’s sleep, this cottage will not disappoint.
The kitchen is fully equipped to satisfy the microwave re-heater or the adventurous chef and there is plenty of room in the lounge/diner to entertain or enjoy family meals. The ground floor bathroom has a deep bath tub as well as a shower unit and a heated rail for warming your towels. Both bedrooms have comfortable beds, one kingsize and one double and we use only 100% cotton linens. There is plenty of storage in both bedrooms including wardrobes and we have thick curtains at the windows to ensure that you get a peaceful nights’ rest during our long summer days and short nights. From your bedroom windows you will see cows in the fields and boats on the canal. Not a bad view for first thing in the morning.
Enjoy your morning tea or coffee in the sunny front garden and relax in the afternoon sun in the rear woodland garden watching the wildlife and listening to the incredible array of birds that visit. We have squishy, comfy cushions for the garden chairs.
On your doorstep is a network of stunning walks and cycles to some of Scotlands most breathtaking scenery and historic sites.

Located in Lochgilphead, this cottage is in a rural area. Dunadd and Arichonan Clearance Village are local landmarks, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Moine Mhor Nature Reserve and Loch Fyne.
