The apartment is freshly decorated and situated very close to Prestwick Town Centre, which is only a 200 yard walk away. This private self-contained 1 bedroom apartment has a double bedroom (double bed), shower room, kitchen and lounge. The lounge also accommodates a fold down double sofa bed suitable for either 2 adults or children.
Free wi-fi is provided throughout the flat.
There is a dining table and chairs in the lounge, which can also be used as a desk. The kitchen has all plates, cups, glasses, pans and utensils in place to allow guests to prepare their own meals. There is a large mix of shops available on the high street to buy food and Prestwick is a lively town with lots of bars and restaurants if you prefer to eat out.
All towels and linen are provided and if your stay extends beyond 5 days, the apartment will have a full linen changeover every 5 days.
The apartment is accessed via a main door (No. 64 Caerlaverock Road) at the front of the building. There is a secure key box at the front door where your keys will be stored and you will receive a code to access the key box several days before your arrival. This allows guests to arrive late, especially if flying into Prestwick Airport late at night, or leaving early morning. This is an unmanned apartment.
Free street parking is available in all the streets surrounding the apartment. There is not a dedicated parking space for the apartment.
The apartment will be cleaned and ready for your arrival from 2:00pm on the day of your arrival and you should leave before 11:00am on the day of your departure.
Prestwick has its own beach and 3 golf courses, including the famous Prestwick Old Course, which was host to the first 12 British Open Championships between 1860 – 1872. The apartment is also close to Prestwick train station (9 min walk) and Glasgow Prestwick Airport (4 min drive or 19 min walk). Ayr is only a short 5 km away and golfing and other tourist attractions are close by. This is a great base to discover Ayrshire, which has a host of tourist attractions and sporting amenities.
Ayr town centre is only a short drive, taxi or bus ride away and Glasgow Town centre is less than an hour away by car or train and is Scotland’s largest city and offers the best shopping facilities in the UK outside London.
Prestwick is served by Glasgow Prestwick Airport, which serves many European destinations as well as transatlantic and other international cargo flights.

Local Major Tourist Attractions
Alloway in Ayr is home to the famous Robert Burns Museum close to where the great poet was born and raised.

Culzean Castle is only a short drive away and has fantastic grounds and views.

The town of Troon and Troon Golf Club are a 10 min drive away or 1 short stop on the train from Prestwick Train Station. Troon has hosted the British Open Championship many times.

Trump Turnberry Hotel and Golf Course is a short 25 min drive away and is definitely worth a visit for all golf fans or food enthusiasts.

Many scenes from the hit TV show Outlander are filmed in Ayrshire, including Dunure Harbour, a 30 min drive away.

Sailing enthusiasts have various marinas to sail from or visit, including Troon, Inverkip, Ardrossan, and Largs.

Why not sail across to the isle of Arran from Ardrossan harbour. Arran has many tourist attractions and unique shopping experiences.
