Hosting two bedrooms; a king-size, and a twin, along with a bathroom, this property can sleep up to four people. Inside you will also find an open-plan sitting, kitchen and dining area with breakfast bar. To the outside is off-road parking, a decked area with furniture and use of shared field, along with a barbecue. There is also use of a shared utility area. Resting in a rural location with countryside views, Mayfields Lodge is a heart-warming retreat in a relaxing part of England.

Town: Shrewsbury is a historic town in Shropshire, famed for its black-and-white buildings, castle and abbey. The town was the birthplace of Charles Darwin, and offers a very good selection of shops, restaurants and bars, along with museums, galleries and new Theatre Severn. The River Severn is a focal point of the town, offering pleasant riverside walks and pleasure boat trips. From Shrewsbury it is easy to enjoy some of Shropshire's best attractions, from the mansion and deer park at NT Attingham Park, to the ten museums at Ironbridge, the wonderful countryside around Church Stretton, or the medieval town of Ludlow.

Located in Shrewsbury, this lodge is in a rural area. Wem Town Hall and Moreton Corbet Castle are local landmarks, and some of the area's attractions include The Adventure Rope Course and Hodnet Hall Gardens. Traveling with kids? Consider Battlefield Falconry Centre, or check out an event or a game at Montgomery Waters Meadow.
