Blackadder Mains Cottage is a beautiful and unusual substantial detached house situated 10 miles west of the historic town of Berwick-upon-Tweed. Built in 1865 of dressed sandstone with a decorative slate roof and arched upper windows, the property enjoys uninterrupted views of the Cheviot Hill. The house has been listed due to its unusual architectural features and the cottage is tastefully decorated and furnished throughout.
