Set in over 300 acres of woodlands, with lovely walks straight from the lodge and cycle routes that take you out towards the coast or inland across the scenic Lincolnshire Wolds. The park also boasts an 18-hole golf course, which makes its way through mature woodland, negotiating no less than 9 lakes, with a hotel bar and restaurant about ½ mile walk. There is excellent coarse and fly fishing nearby, with 15 lakes within a 5-mile radius of Louth (permit required). The nearby Georgian market town of Louth has a good selection of shops, pubs and restaurants, as well as a cinema and leisure centre to enjoy. The seal breeding grounds at Donna Nook are about a 20-minute drive and are always worth a day out in breeding season. The traditional seaside resorts of Mablethorpe and Sutton-on-Sea are about a 20-minute drive to the east, with miles of quiet sandy beaches to explore. Beach 14 miles. Shop 2½ miles, pub and restaurant ½ mile.

Located in Louth, this cottage is in a rural area and on a river. Alford Manor House and Waltham Windmill are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at England Coast Path and Boston Golf Club. Harrington Hall Gardens and Mablethorpe Funfair are also worth visiting. Fishing offers a great chance to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with horse riding nearby.
