The Dortry is a one bedroom, eco-friendly cottage for 2, located in Powys, (previously called Radnorshire) in Mid-Wales. It is in the Land-in-Between, between England and Wales, between the Common land and the Real land; and the tarmac road stops here.
Mid-Wales has a lot to offer; close to the major connection and towns but the Dortry is isolated enough for a peaceful retreat.
Whether your taste is local farmers markets or kytes feeding, galleries or glass making, tasty foods or Victorian Festivals, or if you just want to see the exhibitions in Builth Wells which is only 11 miles away... The Dortry is in the middle of all this. It rests in its 5 acres of lush meadow land, with a vibrant peace and quiet.
Our closest neighbour is 500 yards away, and the Dortry is fed with pure spring water.
