Driftwood cottage is a stunning conversion of an old Cooperage set in a spectacular waterfront location, and is ideal for those who wish to spend time by the sea in a beautiful setting.It now also benefits from the new outside sitting area (Sitooterie) which is not attached to the property and is accessed through the courtyard at the rear of the cottage. Access to the courtyard is from the front of the cottage.
Driftwood cottage is situated in one of a number of small fishing villages in the picturesque East Neuk of Fife. This cottage, totally renovated to the highest standards and tastefully decorated throughout is an ideal base to explore this wonderful part of Scotland. This is a fantastic location for a holiday, with award-winning sandy beaches, world class golf courses, full range of water sports, beautiful coastal walks and many other holiday activities close by. There are numerous pubs and eating places in the area, ranging from the famous "Anstruther Chippie" to award winning seafood restaurants. The historic town of St Andrews is only 15 minutes away. This part of Fife is also ideal for exploring further afield. It is only an hours drive to Edinburgh, Stirling and Perth. The area is rich in historical interest with several National Trust properties in the vicinity including Falkland Palace, Kellie castle and the Hill of Tarvit.

Located in Anstruther, this cottage is on the waterfront. Swilken Bridge and Tantallon Castle are local landmarks, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Craigtoun Country Park and Billow Ness Beach. Scottish Fisheries Museum and La Petite Epicerie are also worth visiting. Discover the area's water adventures with scuba diving and snorkeling nearby, or enjoy the great outdoors with horse riding and cycling.
