Ideal base to explore Suffolk quaint pubs & medieval churches, Sutton Hoo ship burial, castles at Framlingham, Eye, Orford & Bungay. Woodbridge tide mill, Saxstead post mill, Snape Maltings, Minsmere Bird Sanctuary. Adnams brewery and gin distillery at Southwold. Stairs to the upper floors are steep and not suitable for those with significant mobility problems (see photo). 1 week minimum booking in high season (15th June to 31st August 2019) and Christmas.
