This fantastic holiday property is close to the southern banks of Loch Lomond (2 miles) and 1 mile from the small town of Balloch making it perfect for a break away with friends and family. There are some wonderful distilleries in the area, with Glengoyne and Auchentoshan within 16 miles. Charles Rennie Mackintosh s architectural masterpiece Hill House is 8.5 miles away and is a historical gem managed by the National Trust of Scotland. Head to the beautiful 660 acre Mugdock Country Park (18 miles), which can be explored on foot or in your car. Less than a mile away from the property, you can find the impressive Balloch Castle Country Park with its 19th century castle and sweeping views across Loch Lomond. Enter this stylish and spacious property into the hall, where you can hang your coats and take off your muddy shoes. Follow the hall through to the comfortable open plan lounge/kitchen. The well equipped kitchen has everything you need to create celebratory meals. After a day of exploring, relax on the comfy sofas and enjoy a movie on the Smart TV. Doors open into the dining area where you can enjoy your evening meal around the large table that seats eight comfortably with French doors opening into the garden. Continuing back through the hall, you will find a shower room with WC and two double bedrooms one with an en suite shower and WC and a twin bedroom. Venturing outside there is an enclosed patio area tastefully created to reflect comfort and privacy with your own hot tub, bespoke gazebo with seating and charcoal BBQ, perfect for al fresco dining. Please note that the hot tub is only available from 10am 10pm daily.
